Based in north Kent, Niall Oates has worked extensively in Uk bands since moving from Ireland in 1989.

As a saxophonist, Niall has worked alongside many leading uk musicians taking him to many European cities as well as the US, South Africa and Dubai.

As a bassist, Niall currently works in a number of bands switching to saxophone for the occasional party antic.

Niall also works as part of duos and trios playing classical and Spanish style guitar.

In his spare time, Niall is a keen Lindyhopper having performed and taught under Simon Selmon of SwingDanceuk.
