Based in north Kent, Niall Oates has worked extensively in Uk bands since moving from Ireland in 1989. As a saxophonist, Niall has worked alongside many leading uk musicians and DJs which has taken him to many European cities as well as the US, South Africa and Dubai.

As a bassist, Niall currently works in a number of function bands where he is able to switch to saxophone for the occasional dance floor party antics. Niall also works as part of duos and trios playing classical and Spanish style guitar. In his spare time, Niall is a keen Lindyhopper having performed and taught under Simon Selmon of SwingDanceuk.
